At Tea Garden Whimsies, every handcrafted creation begins with a rescue.

Many of the teacups, teapots, china plates, and glass treasures we find have spent years tucked away in cabinets, attics, estate sales, flea markets, and antique shops. Some have simply collected dust. Others have been stored in homes where years of smoke, grease, or everyday living have left behind residue you can't always see.

Before any piece becomes part of your garden, it goes through a careful restoration process.

Step 1 – Careful Inspection

Every piece is individually inspected for cracks, chips, and structural integrity.

Only pieces that can safely become beautiful garden décor are selected.

Step 2 – Deep Cleaning

This is where the transformation begins.

Each piece is thoroughly cleaned to remove years of dust, dirt, residue, and buildup.

Sometimes the water tells the whole story.

Step 3 – Sanitizing

Because many of my creations become bird feeders or pollinator stations, cleanliness matters.

Every feeder is carefully sanitized before assembly.

I want every bird, bee, butterfly, and hummingbird that visits your garden to enjoy a clean, safe place to feed or drink.

Step 4 – Handcrafted with Care

Only after cleaning and sanitizing does the creative process begin.

Each hole is carefully drilled.

Each chain, hanger, perch, or embellishment is individually assembled.

Every finished piece is handcrafted one at a time.

Step 5 – A Beautiful New Beginning

What once sat forgotten in a cabinet now brings joy to gardens, birds, butterflies, bees, and the people who love them.

I rescue forgotten treasures, restore them with care, and give them the opportunity to bring beauty, peace, and a little whimsy to someone else's garden.
